豫剧《桃花庵》是一出根据传统戏《桃花庵》整理、改编的戏曲艺术片。 苏州富家子弟张才虎丘山玩会，偶遇道姑陈妙善，二人相爱，张才随妙善匿居桃花庵数日，不料，张才暴病身亡，后妙善生一子，她用遗物珍珠衫包裹婴儿，托王桑氏抱出庵外，王桑氏又转手将婴儿卖与知州苏昆为子，取名宝玉。 十二年后，张才之妻窦氏在苦于不知张才下落之时，见宝玉貌似张才，便收为义子。王桑氏张宅卖衣，窦氏见珍珠衫认出，问明来历。为证实，将妙善接至家中，盘问出原委，知道宝玉乃是张才之后。过了几年，宝玉考中状元。窦氏到苏府求其归宗。双方争执不休，最后宝玉讲出“生身母，虽有恩，养生母，恩更深。”道理，苏张两家三方相互理解，和睦相处。。Somewhere on the internet is a land where communities pretend to live out a survivalist fiction.
