世紀末, 一群沒有明天的少女對社會不滿, 終日與打鬥, 吸毒, 性分不開, 但都不能帶給她們快樂. 香港記者為完成社會黑暗面的採訪, 走遍各大小酒吧, 更到台灣西門町找新題材,尤其對台灣獨特文化的街頭檳榔西施,有深入探索及瞭解.也由於檳榔西施,又牽扯到人口不法販賣案件,在警方與黑社會慘烈交戰後, 將其全部制服與消滅. 一群辣妹背後種種感人的故事所打動, 令她留下一個難忘,且從真實的少女故事,對人生有深層的體驗與感觸.。The film was written and directed by Stuart Urban, and commissioned to mark the tenth anniversary of the Falklands War. The film was closely based on the historical record, and all of the major incidents portrayed were drawn from contemporary accounts by those who took part. Filming took place on the Falkland Islands and at Ealing Studios.
